Stiffer Transmission/Engine Mounts?

Does anyone know if one can buy stiffer Transmission and/or Engine mounts? I've got an 08 Rav4 4cyl and it could really use some slightly stiffer mounts to help reduce the drivetrain sloppiness.

I've looked and all I come up with are OEM replacement pieces.

Thanks in advance

Feels like there is too much movement down there. I know the Rav4 is more of a family car but I feel that stiffer mounts would help keep the driveline more planted which should translate to smoother and more predictable shifts.

Some 60-70A durometer mounts/inserts should do the trick without being too harsh.

What I've noticed in the RAV4 is that if you're going up hills and you step on it to the point that the car downshifts you'll feel it. This is not the gears slapping each other but the transmission flopping around.

The benefit of stiffer mounts is a more solid feeling when gears are changing and less movement in the driveline that would translate to less power loss (butt dyno). On my 04 GTI and 02 WRX these mounts made a huge difference and I don't see why it wouldn't be beneficial on the RAV4.

Just be prepared for the extra vibrations and noise that will be transmitted into the cabin by the stiff mounts.

60-70 durometer won't be too bad. Honestly you can barely tell the difference. If I used some 90 durometer mounts the car would probably fall apart lol

Does anyone know where I could buy these?

Less power loss with stiffer mounts?? my pictured race car had stock engine mounts ran 10.90's at 122 never had any issue, ran the same car with solid mounts and there was zero difference, your thinking here is flawed. slight torqueing of the drive train is in no way detrimental to performance or driveability.

The benefits of stiffer mounts have been debated on many forums and from my personal experience stiffer mounts in my WRX helped improve the car in many ways. For example if you floor it in 1st and shift at 7k rpms the car would seriously stutter with the stock transmission mount. Once that was changed to a slightly stiffer mount the car was really solid and every high rpm 1-2 gear change was predictable and you could really feel the car take off once you shifted into second.

Anyways I didn't come here to debate something that has been beaten to death on the internet, I just want to know if anyone sells them?

Tour80, I get what you mean. You can feel the engine/transmission moving around a little bit. I'm not sure that slight amount is going to affect anything, but there have been a couple of threads were some folks have put a turbo and done some significant upgrades to the Rav platform. I don't recall talk about engine mounts specifically, but those threads would be my best guess as a place to start.
