Premier Member: September 30, 2002 Name: Lisa Winkler Location: Butler, Pennsylvania, USA Description: 2002 RAV4 L 4x4, 4DR, Frosted White Pearl with Oak cloth interior Options: 4-speed automatic transmission, L package (power package, color-key moldings, fog lamps, privacy glass), Keyless entry w/RS3200plus Security System, Rear Spoiler, Alpine AM/FM/CD receiver (installed after delivery) and After-market sport antenna. Comments: Before I got my RAV, I was the proud owner of a 2000 VW New Beetle (yeah, a Y2K bug). There were only 2 dealers somewhat close to me, and neither one was known for customer relations. When my beetle started to show too many "bugs" of his own, I kept thinking about the time my husband traded in his Ford Ranger for a Tacoma and how Toyota of Butler treated customers like royalty. I felt it was best to put the bug up for adoption and go with Toyota, too.I loved the new "aggressive" look of the RAV4 and 4WD sure would be nice. Plus, all the power options I couldn't afford before and lot's of cargo space.
I knew exactly what I wanted: The L package in the
frosted white pearl with oak fabric. When our dealer ran the locater, it was still on the production line and
scheduled to be shipped to Baltimore. They made arrangements to have it trucked up, rather than driven and I had
to wait 3 very long weeks for my RAV4L to come in.
When I got the call that it arrived, I couldn't wait to see it.
That's when I met my "Pearl". There she was... glistening in the sunlight outside the show room in the "SOLD CARS"
area. I'm so glad I made the move to buy a Toyota. In fact, we have twins because my husband traded up for a Super
White 2002 Tacoma SR5 V6 TRD that same week. It feels good to have such great vehicles and a great dealer in our
area to back them up.
