Just installed mcvitie70's aluminum canister shield - must have taken all of 5 minutes to install. Fits like a glove over the canister, holes lined up perfectly so fit was easy. Won't bother to post any pics since mcvitie70 posted them earlier. Many thanks to John for his time and effort on this project - if you're in doubt, and they are still available, get one!!

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback and Links.
There are two left, but I can order more if there is a demand. The most recent one is being shipped to Canada so thats not a problem. Contact me for more details.

All of the first lot of shields have gone but I am still getting enquiries about them so if I get enough, I will order either 10 or 20 more, depending on how many people want them. Please go to the thread in the Private Party Classifieds and leave a reply there, or PM me or email me.
Use this LINK to see Private Party Classified thread.
Thanks to everyone who had faith in me and bought into the first batch.

As the first batch has all gone, I am currently taking names to order a second lot of the shields - have eight so far - need a few more to make it economically viable. Feel free to email/PM/reply to ask any questions or to have your name added to the list.
Thanks

Update – 20 Aug. I have just placed an order for the second batch of the shields. Due to it being vacation time, the expected delivery (to me) is around 3 weeks from now although there is a chance it will be sooner – as always I will keep everyone up to date.
I will be contacting everyone who asked to be put on the list and you should hear from me in the next few days with regards to payment details. Price will be $46 as before which includes USPS Priority shipping. I can ship outside the US – Canada is the same price, just not Priority shipping – please ask me for a shipping quote if you are outside these areas.
I have some unallocated shields so if you do want one and have not yet contacted me, please do so.
Thanks

| Finally installed mine two weeks ago but late posting. Terrific. Easy to install. Took 5 minutes. First time I drive off with it on down a long dirt driveway, I don't go more than 20 yards when I hear 'ping' 'ping' as some rocks deflect off it. Clearly does it's job. Thanks again for making these John!! |

Mellowman and phantomdg - you have the payment information in your PM Inbox - thanks for posting.
Update 31st Aug - the shields have arrived (early). I am traveling for work all of next week so will do everything possible to get them off to eveyone who has paid on Saturday morning. The ones going USPS should be delivered in around 3 days, but remember Monday is a holiday so it could well be the end of next week.
Thanks again to everyone who has responded.
abulon, h2ocoolerman, RadRAV4 and GSX4 please check your PM Inboxes. Thanks very much.
