Such a pity how the RAV4 has matured so much. Its looks like it is getting too classy too.

Okay..so no one seems to be saying this (except for post I saw before). The European re-design everyone seems to going on about is based on what is known as the Vanguard here in Japan. There is nothing new about it. The Vanguard is pretty much the long wheel base RAV4 available in the US and in some European regions (at least body/chassis wise..not sure if the engine configs are the same) and has been on sale since 2008 or so. The JDM RAV4 is a sSWB version and has the same front stylings of the LWB versions available in the US. The European re-design seems to have taken the front end of the Vanguard and stuck it on the SWB RAV4. The rear door, etc also seem same as the RAV4/Vanguard available here. Some pics seem to be of the SWB and some of the LWB. The LWB with the "re-design" is exactly the Vanguard. If you are not convinced of the wheel base differences check the Japanese Toyota site...

I got my (euro) 4.3.3 today... Front look is more like other new euro (Toyota) models, other changes are minor even compared to 4.3.1.

Very nice!! I see a small panel below each headlight. Assuming that's for a headlight washer/wiper--what countries require those?

At least today it is not required here, except with legal hid-lights.

Anyway it has been (and still is) very common feature here, even my first car from 70's had those.

Can you comment on the interior? Have they added more insulation to cut down on road noise?

Some changes compared to my -08 but I guess there are no (big) changes
to previous euro-model (4.3.2).

Compared to my previous -08 (4.3.1) first thing I noticed was the lower noise level.
Well diesel engines are not very quiet anyway... Shocked

Toyota Announces Pricing on 2011 Yaris, RAV4, Land Cruiser, Sequoia, Tundra, Camry, Camry Hybrid, Avalon, Sienna, and 2011 Scion xD

Link

"The RAV4, the first ever car-based SUV, originally introduced in 1996, receives standard brake override technology for 2011, along with an optional Base Plus Extra Value Package that includes a moonroof, six-CD audio system, color-keyed door handles, upgraded interior fabric, roof rails, privacy glass, 17- inch alloy wheels, tonneau cover (on two-row models), and daytime running lights. The base MSRP for RAV4 will range from $21,925 for the Base four cylinder 2WD model to $28,235 for the Limited V6 4WD model with automatic transmission, an increase of $250, or 0.9 to 1.2 percent.

I thought they were changing the exterior?

All the 2011 exterior changes were/are speculation based on what has happened to Rav4s elsewhere in the world.

I think Toyota is spending most of their R&D on the next 4.4 version, more firmly tought to be released in 2012.

So did they or did they not take out the spare tire from the back of the RAV?
All the photos from the Geneva preview had me convinced they got rid of it.

Thanks for the reply.

I just found an article detailing the option to get run-flat tires (which also removes the spare tire). Seems to be only offered on the Sport and maybe the Limited?

I also noticed more buttons on the steering wheel...controls for stereo volume and bluetooth? Would that be just for the navi package?

I'm currently conflicted between getting the 2010 now at 0% finance or waiting for the 2011. Most likely getting the Base V6 4WD
